You will work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining safety and quality standards, driving continuous improvement in all areas.
You will be an engaged team member on cross-functional product development teams through all stages of the development process. You, along with your buyer, will develop a skilled and capable supply chain to ensure cost, quality, and performance targets are achieved according to project timelines.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years industrial leadership experience and demonstrated abilities in meeting customers’ expectations. Other qualifications include ability to analyze and correct production issues at the root-cause level, ability to juggle multiple complex assembly orders incorporating customer and engineering changes throughout the process. Must have ability to evaluate design concepts for manufacturability, quality, reliability and customer satisfaction. Also required are knowledge of quality control systems, plus experience in inventory control, KanBan and JIT. Effective communication skills required at all levels of the organization, as well as with customers and suppliers. Light travel required.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years industrial purchasing experience and demonstrated abilities in negotiating / cost control. CONTROLS ENGINEER - PLCs

We are currently seeking experienced CONTROLS ENGINEER with a minimum of 5 years proven success in designing electrical controls for equipment used in industrial production/manufacturing. You will work with a global development team to design innovative next-generation systems. Must have experience in creating AutoCad schematics for control systems in electrical / mechanical hardware and technology such as pumps, controls and metering. Must have thorough understanding of program PLC logic (AB/Rockwell, Siemens, etc) and HMI screen creation and customization with the ability to provide tech support of the same by phone and occasional customer visits. Requires knowledge of NFPA 79, UL, 508A, and European CE. You will also create BOMs for control panels, research new parts for special features, support field Sales (this is 30% of the job and will require travel – some internationally) and maintain existing products through engineering maintenance of drawings. Must have experience in project management from design through purchasing and assembly.
You must also demonstrate the ability and motivation to take the integration of our control systems to the next level. You must possess a demonstrated ability to design control systems for seamless integration into parent equipment, factory management systems, remote monitoring programs and other systems that will allow our customers to reduce the total life cycle cost of our coating and bonding systems.
Prefer candidates to have BSEE.
